Waco Texas

Any boarders in the Waco area?

Looking to add to our crew this fall, we ride the Brazos alot and some other small lakes around Waco when the wind is'nt too bad.

Hit me up if anybody is out there looking for a pull, or needing extras. I have a boat with a pretty nice wake.

Oh how I miss that buttery shred section of the river. We may have to tow up there soon, as the water is almost gone on the Perd.

Look up the Baylor Wakeboard Club.

I've always was curious about boarding on the Brazos. Looked at a couple Google Earth images and looks like you guys have a decent stretch of river. I'm from Copperas Cove and wouldn't mind towing my 2011 Axis up there to meet some new riders.

There's a great stretch of river to ride on. And there is only one launch open now that is sort of isolated so there is usually only a few boats out and their all boarding. Drop me a pm if you want to get together. I lived in Belton the last 4 years.

I would like to check out the Brazos River...so if you're going anytime soon.... let me know!

rrkyle: I tried to send you a PM but can't. You can email me at SunsetOrangeTa@hotmail.com

i'm looking to head out that way a few more times this year as well. I usually ride Tin Top, which is still the Brazos but closer to where it feeds into Granbury, in more the Weatherford area. Same situation, everyone on that stretch is a rider and has no problem sharing water.

sexyws6mama 09-20-2011 11:26 AM

Yeah I'm definetly looking to ride in Waco only because I live in Killeen.

Lake Whitney is getting low so its time for new butta can anyone tell me how low the river level is from the norm?

Head down to Waketoberfest Oct 20-23, the Austin area dealers and participating in a boat demo day on Canyon Lake on Friday. The lake is full and it will give you a chance to meet other riders. We are then heading back over to Texas Ski Ranch for the remainder of the weekend and you can camp on site. Cable events, Winch contest, Miss Waketoberfest, and tons of other events happening in the park this special weekend.

wakekat15 10-03-2011 11:15 AM

We will be on the Brazos in Waco this coming Saturday (10/8) afternoon in a Blue/White Super Air Nautique 210. Please stop and introduce yourself if you are out and about!

snork 10-14-2011 12:25 PM

How is the water level?
I'm about to pull the trigger and relocate the boat to Waco.
Anyone know where I can get good storage north of town?

rdlangston13 10-15-2011 2:26 PM

how does the brazos around waco compare to the trinity north of lake livingston?

sexyws6mama 10-15-2011 2:51 PM

David..... Trinity was like ultimate glass and Brazos is like 2nd place to that. Definetly still amazing, but Trinity got it going on!!!!

rdlangston13 10-15-2011 3:01 PM

only problem with the trinity is when it rains alot in dallas you get a fair amount of floating debris. i was wondering if the brazos shares this trait

rdlangston13 10-15-2011 3:06 PM

also, what parts of the guadalupe are rideable?
