Save Boating in Bundalong Australia

Hi All,

Not big on posting, but have definitely enjoyed visiting the WakeWorld threads over the years! Just reaching out to the wider wakeboarding community as my local watering hole is at risk of being taken away from us and that's pretty ****ty.

You all might know Bundalong from any many professional vids when crew head down under, Prime being the main example of Bundalong/Lake Mulwala, also Oakley Push Process put some work in there.

Recently the fun police have submitted a draft to begin banning wake enhancing activities at Bundalong, their starting with a small stretch but intend to actually proceed to remove towed watersports from a majority of the mighty Murray... At the moment their stating that boats and wakeboarding are a potential cause for erosion but aren't considering the risks to the local community and tourism that wakeboarding supports - I don't want to go to much into it, you can read the draft and keep up with comments on the below Facebook page if your interested.

Just hoping many of you would be able to sign the petition that is up and running! Link here:

Appreciate it!

ooh that's a tough one. US Waterski Assoc can usually provide some legal direction on these issues stateside. I think you have Ski and Wakeboard Assoc down there?check with them, may be able to help.

signed. good luck

Thanks mate - yeah we have plenty of people on the right side of the fence looking at this. Just hoping to get some more voices behind it before the final decisions are made in early 2018.

Appreciate the support!
