I found what may be a great deal for a 1995 Prostar 205. What is the wake like on these boats. I hear the 96 is when they switched hulls to the the x-1 shape? Any info/ pictures would be great. Also may have found a great deal on an 87 sunsport. I hear they make a great wake. Thanks

I had a 94 for 7 yrs. We had about 800 lbs of ballast all around the boat & the wake had a great shape, medium size, & had great pop, for boarders & foilers. The gunnels are a bit low on it so I was a bit leary about weighting it much more than that, but I know others have done it.

Ahhhh.... We spent so much time in a 94' 205!!! This is the boat I landed my first 180, backroll and so many more tricks behind. Very nice wake, good pop, fairly narrow. We started riding this boat before fat sacs even existed and over the years just kept putting in more weight, I think 1200 lbs or so was about perfect, theres no floor space but the wake is nice.
