Best Lakes in AZ for the Summer
 

We normally do a trip up to Northern CA to Lake Oroville/Bullards late Summer. This year it looks like the lake levels will be too low, and the ramps will likely be close. I'm looking for alternatives to go somewhere we haven't been before. Any suggestions for lakes within 8 hour trip from SoCal that will be open later Summer? I can google around but wanted to see what people here say. Lake Pleasant and Canyon Lake are a couple I've been looking at. Current pictures would be cool, too.
