rope handle foam replacement?

So I have a rope that came with my boat. Not sure on the brand or if its even meant for wakeboarding. It has a large handle and a small above it. Anyways the foam around the handle tore off. I looked at it quickly while I was on the boat and it doesn't look like the handle piece detaches.

Has anyone replaced the foam handle cover? In my redneck ways i was thinkong of getting some pvc insulation foam and zip tie it on the handle.

It can be done...you can pick up some traction mat material like hydroturf and glue it on. I tried it without a lot of success. Mine ended up coming back off
after a few uses. I don't think I allowed the glue enough time to set properly on mine before trying to use it. I would just pick up a new one with a good stitched
cover. Should last a lot longer. The zip ties would kill your hands.

Where can I buy that. I figured one on each side and one in the middle for zip ties. Plus gloves

Tennis racket wrap. Wally world for about 3$. A little spray tack on the handle before wrapping.

Redneck checking in..

Hello good sir,

Does that provide good support. I feel like the foam takes some of the brunt and makes it easier to hold.

How do you change out the handle

U could try and gypsy something up, but you still end up needing a new handle at some point IMO....I know they aren't cheap but I typically go through a handle every year and a half or so...

I was thinking that you could try the tennis racquet wrap too. I think it is probably time for a new handle as I don't expect you to find any of the fixes to be acceptable.
