vacation home rental software

I have a couple vacation homes that i am renting out and just wanted to see if anyone is using certain software or Excel spreadsheets to keep everything organized? I am considering buying a software packet offline, but wanted to check and see if anyone was using anything else and how they like it.

A few things i would like: organize property ID, manage bookings, rates, contacts, availability, check in/ check out, status (fully paid, deposit only, etc)

I use LandlordMax for mine. Simple to use and you get the upgrades free if you buy the full version. $160.00 or so isn't bad for software. I did alot of research on all of them before I bought it. Most of what I read is this is the easiest to use. No limit to how many "units" you can add.
The only thing that I don't like about it is there is no way to keep up with milage in this software. A simple Excel sheet takes care of that. Aslo you can't wright a check from the software, but I would never use that function anyway. So to me that part didn't matter. Hope this helps you out a little...

I followed your link and checked it out. I remember now that I liked that one but you have to buy extra units. So if I have 2 units now and then bought another rental, I'd have to buy another license. That was what stopped me from that one. I do like their calendar feature though. Can view everything as a calendar and clik on the days to see whats due, whats owed, bills, ect.
Like I said the only thing that stopped me from that one was the buying extra license thing...

Very true. As of right now, I have two rental properties and there is an option for that. It's $199 for 2 properties, then jumps to $299 for 5 properties. I wish some one was using this..
