World Wake Surf League Surf Fest 2016
 

hello all!! the WWSL is having its premier event this Sept 29 to Oct 2 at MossDale Quarry Lake!! We are having multiple events over those days. Thursday we are bringing out 40 to 50 special needs kids to get them out behind a boat and on SUP's and with over 60 volunteers helping the kids this should be a great day with over 300 people in attendance and 2/3 of them new to wake surfing.
Friday is another day with 40 to 50 special needs kids and getting them out in the water with the 24 surfers invited to compete in the championships over the weekend, again with over 60 volunteers this will be a very special day for the surfers and the kids and again we expect over 300 people at the venue. Friday evening will be the women's championship competition and it will finish under the lights. Saturday will be the mens Pro/Am Championship with 16 invited riders. We will be rotating the Public in the Boats to watch the riders First Hand and Introduce the bay Area to Wake Surfing!! Saturday night will be a longboard exhibition open to all and it will continue on into the night under the lights and will be finishing up while a Great Rock n Roll Band " Maria's Fault " will be playing live for dancing and entertainment!! Sunday we are hoping to be working with The Blue Star Moms Org. and hosting 20 Wounded Warriors on the lake behind the boats with the riders from the competition.
This is Shaping Up to be an Incredible Event being put on by the Wake Surfers from Northern Calif.
There will be lots of Media Coverage on all 4 days of the Event. We have the private lake from Wednesday the 28th until Tuesday the 4th ...... the lake will be lighted for surfing all night, camping on the grounds is allowed, bring your boat and we will do our best to get you time on the lake, or just come and participate, volunteer, camp and I'm sure you will be able to catch a ride on a boat!!
