2019 G21 vs 2020xt23
 

Does anyone have experience with eithor of these boats. Is the g21 worth a **** for surfing and wakeboarding? My last 2 boats have been an MCx45 and Tigez3. I've had nothing but headaches with tige and my dealer so considering switching. Would like some real world feedback on these 2 boats. I do 75% surfing 25% wakeboarding.

This is kind of apples and oranges. The G21 is a 21’ wake-specific boat. The XT23 is a 23’ crossover. It’s hard to beat the surf and wakeboard wakes of a G21 in a 21’ package. I came really close to buying a G21. It was just a little smaller than we wanted from a seating perspective. The wakes for surfing and wakeboarding were phenomenal. If this were X23 vs G21 I’d take the X23 and not look back. But the XT? I’ll take the G21 and live with the 21’ footprint. That’s not from personal experience with the XT. It’s from the XT’s own billing as a crossover.
