They made the Guinness world record with 32 skiers. The record is still pending.

That barefoot record is seriously impressive. We talked about having a go back when it was 20. Congrats to the team 32 footers behind one boat is awesome!

In 2010, we pulled 114 skiers from a deep start and it took the boat a full minute and a half to finally build enough power and speed to get everybody up. In 2012, we fitted our specially modified ski props and pulled 154 skiers from a deep start (145 made a full nautical mile). It actually pulled it pretty easy and had the grunt to pull quite a few more. The systems and processes to pull 150 skiers is an order of magnitude harder than 100.

Cairns & District Powerboat Club still has the slalom record of 100 skiers set back in 1986.
