wakesetter vs LSV

So I been shopping for a boat and keep losing out on bidding wars. No fun!

I passed on 04 centurion because it has the walkway avy, which everyone says is hard to surf goofy. I wake boarded behind it and lsv and wake setter, all seem equal. Never surfed though behind them. Always behind a supra. I am next week testing a 05 wake setter vlx and 07 Moomba LSV. The difference is 5,000 in price Moomba being more, and Moomba has only 180 hours and wake setter 490. Any thoughts on the waive for surfing. I always been told by my friends who surf that Malibu is way to go, big thing is the rotation of the prop and is better goofy. Any thoughts?

both boats under 27000.

I would think the Malibu with some ballast and maybe some type of wakeshaper would be better

The lsv properly weighted and with a gate throws a killer surf wave. The 05 wakesetter properly set up will have a respectable wave but not as good. Forget the momba, terrible resale and not as good as either boats you've mentioned.
