Personal boat ramp/dock

Was fortunate enough to move onto the waterfront for the first time ever a few months ago, but am realizing that living on the water is different than visiting it. Now that its warming up, and I think the pesky racoons have relocated from under my dock and wont try to move into my boat or storage lockers i think its time to put the boat on the water, which leads me to my question... M

I have a personal "ramp" thing to the water. I say ramp thing, since it has a sea-wall in the front, and so it isnt for launching the boat, only for storage, There's an old winch, (both mechanical, and hand) so I assume its to pull the trailer out of the water... as some of my neighbors appear to have done. (cant get close enough to really see without getting the cops called on me) So forgive the perhaps dumb question... If thats the case, how the heck do i get the trailer to the "ramp"? Or am i way off base here, and /or do i need to purchase a "Roll-n-go" style docking system.

A) talk to your neighbors.

B) sounds like it was set up for a trolley like seen below. I'm sure there are many different designs and styles to choose from.

You could always strap the trailer tight to the boat and drive the whole werks over to your ramp. You'd look like the poster boy for launch ramp antics, but just tell everyone someone stole your last trailer so you're taking this one with!
