Board Selection: Quad versus Time Machine
 

So I have a connect with the local Hyperlite rep and looking to upgrade from my 59" broadcast. Other than what I have, I've previously ridden both ends of the surf/skim spectrum, but that was before there were so many options (Ronix Koal and HL Coex-broadcast's little brother). Are doing some homework of my own, I have my sites set on one of the two above. So I have to ask, does anyone have preferences between the two? Know how they ride compared to the broadcast? I'm looking for a happy medium of skim/surf and was just curious if I'm in the right spot.

I personally found the quad to be slow and unresponsive. Even with only 2 fins it was slow. Owned one for half a summer and sold it.
