We got maybe 45 whopping hours this year… suck of a summer up here, boat is put a way and time to think about winter

only got 3 weekends out of my heap. Probably 10 weekends total on friends boats though. Agreed, it was a 'suck of a summer'.

Not nearly enough... I'm realizing that my kids sports are eating up more and more river weekends.

Was a good year here. Over 90 hrs. Still riding now. Did Shasta, the Snake, Coeur d'Alene, Banks & Roosevelt..... in addition to our own home lake. And every lake had plenty of water in them.

bill... i lost a 100.00 bill on Liberty Lake one year, nice lake, a little to windy for me, banks lake couple summers ago, i like that lake...

90 hours on the boat... and 20 on my buddys doo

It was a weird summer. Usually nearly every hour on my boat is surfing and boarding but this year there was little of that relative to years past. I got out as much as possible but we mostly soaked up rays and knocked back sodas.

Yea, 2 yrs ago it was windy as hell here. This year it was nice. Guess we got lucky this year.

In addition to the boat hrs, I racked up a ton on a paddleboard too. Probably paddled the entire diameter of the lake (about 4.5 miles) like 6 or 8 times.

60 on old boat + 56 on new boat = 116

average for us, 200 ish. We try to stay wet all summer.

Only 70-80 but still have a few more weeks left.

I started March 6 with 138 hours, it reads 321 now, and we'll be putting her up toward the end of November..

i was one of those kids who's time was eaten up by sports....looking back, i would much rather have spent time on the boat wake boarding and hanging with my family than playing soccer every weekend.

25 on the wooden boat, 265 so far on the new supra. Still warm enough here in central Florida for a while yet so I think we will hit the 300hr mark on the 242 this year. The short days make it hard to get out after work though.

130; not too bad in Michigan.

110 on the main boat.... couples on my friend boat.

I got all the good hours and left the bad ones for someone else.Mostly the early hours between 6 A.M. and 9 A.M.BUTTER at it's best.

Just under 100 hrs here.

Only 50 something here but I did get 13 in late Sept/October alone so I can't complain too much. Good way to close out the season, I guess.

I think I got 30 hrs... Crappy weather in western wa, and only two trips east, one of which got rained out.

I did get a LOT of chill time with the motor off though. Hard to board with chicks in the boat.

95 on my boat, rotate boats with 2 other buddies,no idea on there hrs. Pretty good for the late start we got here in montana.

Only 41 hrs. due to crap weather and trailer axle failure.:rolleyes:

156 on the Axis and a few more on buddies boats... still more to go up here in nor cal

Like 20 hours, tops. Not by my choice, life just throws curve balls. I'll be back logging 100+ hours a summer next year.

right around 125 hrs....basically all riding. rarely had the boats running if there was no one behind them.

130 hrs on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH. Weekends only, 1 week long vacation. It was another great summer here!

Winterizing her this weekend. It snowed after I took her out in April and it's going to snow tonight before she gets put away. That's New England for ya.

About half as many as years past...I would say around the 70 mark this year. Too many weddings and other commitments this summer.

Was just going to create a post like this. I only put maybe 35 hours! What a crappy ass summer. I normally average 80 to 90. And to top it off, I never saw a boat bun thread on here all year! :)

I like this time of year when the temperatures drop into the 80's. I have another month before slowing down because of early darkness. I can tell winter is approaching when the traffic on Wakeworld dwindles.

Failure this year. Not sure if I got 30 hours. Babies and no water in our lakes make for a failed summer. Thank God for a new cable park with lights though!

I think I'm around 36 hours or so. I haven't done a final count yet. Heck, I haven't been out on my boat in almost a month already. The weather up here turned real quick and with doing reno's in my house I haven't had a chance to get away. Has been a crappy year for sure. My worst ever....next year will probably be bad though too with a newborn on the way in April.

108 here, not bad considering the season goes may 15- labor day for me

133 since late April on the new boat and still riding, probably get another trip or two out this year

150 this year, and still riding, until we get a hard freeze in NE Tn... 150 last year and 150 this year, I think the hour meter is around 302 actually,

11 hours total....talk about curve balls. My Mom, Dad, and me own our own floor covering business with only 1 other employee, and he is part time. We find out mid summer that he needed to have 2 heart valves replaced after countless admittences to the hospital. Well he has the surgery and then he has lung complications from the surgery. So then a month later he has lung surgery. Just this week, he has started coming back to work for a couple of hours a day. So basically, I have been running the entire business by myself for the entire summer, plus taking care of everything else at his house and mine. Needless to say I haven't had time for the lake. To be honest I haven't been to the lake since the first weekend in August.

I have had my boat for sale for awhile, so hopefully the low hours will be a plus if it sells. If not, I will be looking forward to getting to the lake next season when Dad is back to himself again.

142 on our boat and our lake is open May 1st through Sept 30th. We missed the last 6 weeks of the season or else we would of probably hit around 200.

Didn't buy the boat until middle of June (my previous boat had no hour meter, and I barely used it before getting our Malibu due to raining ALL of May). Also had 10 days of vacation out of the country, worked every 3rd Saturday, few weekends where family visits got in the way of boating, and 2 weekends missed due to maintenance issues I had to care for that the previous owner didn't.

I also shut the boat off a lot, so I don't eat up hours with idle time, which probably helps some as well, and normally run with a small crew (3-4 adults and my baby daughter).

Actually, it's a lot of excuses and I wish I got more use out of it this year. We will next year for sure!

Currently at 46 and counting, I think I can still squeeze some more out. I got a pretty late start to the season because of all the work I wound up doing to the boat.

Nor Cal has got ripped off this year. It warmed up a month late and cooled down a month early. Global warming is really hurting out boating!

about 90hrs for me. i would be interested in where you all live with relation to hours on the boat? i live in Erie, PA and our summers are only from late June to maybe mid September.
i think 90hrs is pretty good for a 3 month summer. it surprises me to see boats 5yrs old from the south with 150-200hrs on them.
