what's the set-up?

Here's the set up
 

Custom reduced size swim step that doesn't drag in the water. Wedge removed. All hard tanks, except for the front are full. Auxiliary rear tanks are full. Total evenly distributed ballast is about 2500 lbs. Then, under the port seat, 700 lbs steel bags. On top of the port seat 1100 lbs fat sack. Grand total 4300 lbs plus 2 people on board. I also have a custom wake shaper on the starboard side,

Haven't set it up for goofy yet, but I plan to. I'll post again when I do.

What board are you riding there?

That's a homemade board for ocean surfing, basically a retro fish with 3 fins, 5' 8". My goal is to improve my surfing on the ocean, so I use the same board for wake surfing.

I am now looking for wake surfers in the LA area to meet me for wake surf sessions at Lake Castaic. I need someone with a truck who is willing to pickup, launch, fill and drain the ballast, and retrieve the boat for me. Free wake surfing and no charge for gas. In fact, I am willing to pay a fee to someone who is highly qualified. Must pass background check.

You teenagers can be so rude. I'm just looking for riders, and hopefully one person with a truck. I'm moving my boat from Nacimiento to Castaic. Lake Castaic is closer to my house, but I don't know anyone it that area to surf with.

This thread is a bit “unusual” per the normal customs of the watersports world, I must say.

Sounds like you're looking for a service provider, not a buddy to surf with. Background check? Pay a fee to someone who is highly qualified? Might be a better served by a "help wanted" ad. Just a suggestion.
