Here we are at Green Lake, BC; weather's a little chilly for August but the water is bathtub warm and no campfire ban!Attachment 39550

Nice setup! What motor is in the RV? I am looking at picking up something like that this winter.

It's the triton V10 that ford used to make. Piles of power but I'm not sure about the ford transmissions so I take it easy on the hills. It's 25' long, nice and short for easy u-turns and backing down the boat launch.
Anybody else got RV setups feel free to post some pics!

I was surprised towing with an RV powered by the V-10. Way more power than I expected. Since I bought a diesel truck I've been holding out for a diesel RV. But after driving a 37' + boat with the Ford V-10 I'm seriously reconsidering...
Nice set up SWEC. First couple times down a ramp with an rv was a little sketchy, but old hat now.
Love to see people still making it happen.

I am actually looking at buying a 7.3L shuttle bus and converting it myself. It is a lot cheaper than buying the same platform already built as an RV. I see a lot of the V10 but I am holding out for the 7.3. I will be towing many hours away and sometimes a lot of hills. Just seems like it will be easier on the diesel than gaser.
