When you wreck so bad that....

you crawl into the boat and 5 minutes later you realize that your head is somehow now in the left arm hole of your vest. Yup... happened today.

Pretty funny. I'd love to see a pic of that.

wakebrdjay 06-07-2014 8:53 PM

you dig the entire toeside edge so deep that you swear that the boat stretched you an inch taller.

That sounds like a bad wreck! I've never seen anything like that before. What did you fall on?

phathom 06-07-2014 10:09 PM

Oh wow! What kind of vest were you wearing and how tight was it? Sounds like it was somewhat loose for that to happen. I've crashed so bad that I lost my board shorts and had a horrible headache not able to hear right and water leaking out of my ears for days, I wear ear plugs now for that reason. But I never crashed changing holes in my life jacket bad. That's crazy.

Here's the correct link, that one got all kinds of messed up.

But wow. That was really close. Did that make contact, or did they just bail to avoid a horrible crash?

masongardner 06-08-2014 3:11 PM

Omg!!! I just watched that like 5 times in a row.

iShredSAN 06-08-2014 5:27 PM

Thanks for posting the right one. Doing it off of my phone and didn't realize it was off

phathom 06-08-2014 10:59 PM

No problem, it was mainly the double http and also mobile links don't always read the same way on computers as they do on phones.

Dwight, The exact same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago on a sketchy hs 5. I promptly went home and ordered a new vest. The one that i was wearing was a non cga and about 6 years old.
