I didn't know where else to post this, but I just signed up for the Maven event and was wondering if the lakes are cold enough that I would need a wetsuit. Has anybody been out and what do you think? I'll be there in the morning soo....

pleasant was 63-65 degrees. just a top was good enough.

that sounds cold to me.

What Maven session did you sign up for? I just signed up for the Friday morning one, I'm pretty excited, it should be a good time. By the end of April the lakes should warm up quite a bit more.

it was 65 on Sunday at Sagauro and 64 at Roosevelt last Sunday. It's actually not bad. I'm pretty much a wimp with cold water, since I grew up in Hawaii and have not been wearing a drysuite or wetsuite.
