Wow, Centurion Ri 257

Massive. I trust the BoardCo guys although they are a Centurion dealer. This boat looks pretty amazing and may just keep Centurion on top of the surf boat scene. There is definitely some Correct Craft influence.

Impressive

Looks like an amazing boat, but alot of boat to handle. Good to see all mfg's stepping it up a notch. Can't imagine what this thing costs however.

Nice boat but terrible video... almost felt motion sickness watching it.:(

Shakarocks 10-18-2016 7:09 AM

The video was just a quick rundown by a dealer. I don't think it was supposed to be a professional production.

SHotz__21 10-18-2016 7:29 AM

Anyone find the link to the video of the wave?

DenverRider 10-18-2016 7:51 AM

Correct Craft influence? Correct Craft didn't completely ignore the wakeboard scene by making a boat that surfed great but couldn't produce a decent wakeboard wake.

Agree left out the best part.

SHotz__21 10-18-2016 8:44 AM

I would imagine the wakeboard wake has a ton of potential with 5500 lbs of ballast. But the deep V design would probably make it finicky.

What a ridiculous comment.

Correct Craft influence in the design and amenities for example the in-floor cooler.

I hate to tell you this but a good driver can tweak an Enzo to make a good wakeboard wake. It requires a bit more effort but it can be done.

They did something interesting on this hull and flattened out the hull near the edges. Makes the hull seem like some sort of hybrid.

30 foot surf wave is something I'd like to see

I emailed Centurion boats and asked them about the wakeboard wake and this is the two pictures the sent me of the RI257.

This was a copy of Amy's email.

Hi! Thank you for the question. It’s a great one.*

Answer… the wakeboard wake is huge! But it is also well shaped and totally symmetrical. Check out these photos.*

Love to set-up a demo for you to ride for yourself. Let me know if you have any other questions.*

Thank you again.*

THAT WAKE IS MASSIVE!!
just wanted to share with my wakeworld friends.

DatTexasBoy 10-23-2016 7:17 AM

The wake does have good size to it, but the top edges look real sharp to me. I wonder what speed they are running at and how much ballast.

brainrinse 10-23-2016 6:08 PM

That exhaust looks very interesting!

duffymahoney 10-24-2016 5:52 PM

Ballast bags? I thought it was all hard tanks. I can see them in the video.

Truekaotik 10-25-2016 5:13 PM

Yeah it has ram fill plus ballast bags Duff... what do you mean?

denverd1 10-26-2016 7:34 AM

looks snappy!

duffymahoney 10-26-2016 12:18 PM

So does the ram fill also fill the bags?

lifetimewarranty 10-27-2016 3:02 PM

Game Changer:D

Truekaotik 10-27-2016 5:48 PM

No the Ram fill is each side. Then a plug and play system on top in rear plus optional bags as shown driven off of impeller pumps.

Where did it say Ri257? I looked and the only one I could find is Ri217 which is the 21ft Ri.
