2013 Mastercraft X-25 Wakeboard Wake

I have a 2013 Mastercraft X-25 boat. I love the boat, but i am hoping to fix the wakeboard wake. I ride full stock ballast at 60ft going 22.5mph. The wake is very steep. When i hit my wake its like hitting a wall. I was hoping you guys could help me out to make my wake more like a G wake (ramp) to have a smoother transition into the air. Please give me your setups or tips to help make my wake a smoother transition.

Thanks,

Landon

Try riding at 70' or even 75'
Also weight the bow more to increase ramp and get rid of the wall

Stock ballast full, if you have rear plug and play, fill them about half to 3/4 full. Then as much weight as you can put in the nose, and it is absolutely money. I put a 1k lb triangle up front at 23.6 at 70ft.

Slam that thing down, it can take it. I would absolutely put the triangle bow sac in, then under it put another 750 and on more 750 between the driver and the spotter. This will take the wake and create a ramp with a nice snappy lip. Like others have said drop your rope out to at least 70 if not longer and kick the speed up. At the longer length the with the added weight the wake will be wider, but going faster with the longer line will give you more time and speed to clear the wake. IN the long term the longer rope and speed will really help you out, you won't have to take such an aggressive cut at the wake to clear it which will in turn help you out with line tension and body position.

Im my X-Star I hated the way that the bow sac crushes the front seats. So I took out my front seats and built a 3/4" treated plywood frame the shape of the seats to put the sac on. I used a cardboard mock up to make sure it would be perfect before I cut out the plywood. Once I was sure the plywood frame would fit I used some PL200 adhesive to glue some soft indoor/outdoor carpet to the plywood so it would not scratch the fiberglass. I completely wrapped the plywood frame in carpet. It fits perfect and I am not destroying my vinyl/seats. Just a suggestion.
