what do you guys think? i can deffently ride, im doing 360s on a 5 8 shortboard ropeless, but i figure if i really want to start being able to do more i need to get a wakesurfing board... i like the overall shape of the broadcast, but its 100+ dollars more than the skimskate... what do you guys think

what about phase5 boards? how does it compaire with the broadcast

Phase 5's are decent but feel real "slippery"
They have a teardrop design that makes it a bit harder to lock into the wake and glide.

Go with the Broadcast if it's between the two.

Go with the Skimskate 5' if you want to get better

what do you mean go with the skimskate 5 if i want to get better? whats better about it?(becides its 100 dollars cheaper)

The Broadcast is longer, has deeper fins and sharper edges.
This means that the board will be less manuverable, harder and harder to spin.
It is an easier board to learn on though.

The Skimskate is blunt tiped and has shallower fins. It is easier to get more agressive with it and a TON easier to spin on. (even if you shave the fins on the Broadcast)

That is what I mean by "if you want to get better"
Good luck!
