Well.....I am only posting b/c I'd hate to see this thread go un-responded to.

In all seriousness - CLEAN. Everything from the boat to the install looks really good and extremely well installed. I especially like how you did not strap everything to the Harpoon and how you separated the non hlcd's to the 800.4 and the hlcd's to the harpoon. That is the way to do it!

Job Well Done 06.

That is super clean. May need a few more LEDs around the flooring cup holder. One word to describe that boat, Elegant! Good job!

Wow, what a killer install and beautiful boat you have there sir.

timmyb 05-09-2011 9:37 AM

Wow that is totally sweet. Very very very clean and unique.

Prolly the most bad ass install for a wake boat that's still clearly intended to be a wake boat that I've seen on here. Yes there are bigger louder more expensive systems (and not many of those), but all at the cost of being able to use the boat. This install is insane, and to be done by a shadetree enthusiast.... great work man, great work!

hatepain 05-09-2011 1:59 PM

Just an FYI this is NuBu's boat

hatepain 05-09-2011 2:03 PM

Looks amazing Nu, I can't wait to hear it. I really appreciate how OEM it looks, theres a littel flair but not to much. Bravo!

John, did Jeremy do the work himself or what installer did it?

liljohn 05-09-2011 11:05 PM

Bret-
I am sure the O.G. of gentlemen would approve. J spent the last 5+ months working weekends and after work when he was home putting all this together. All done out of his garage. I think it speaks leaps and bounds of his ability.

Shawnn- You are right this install kept all aspect of riding very much intact and functional.

TravisZ- Any more LED`s and it would not be the Gentlemens boat.

Murphy- Correction the 800.4 is bridged running the XM7`s and the harpoon is running the XM6.5`s.

I think "elegant" is the proper term here.

Really nice super clean factory look. Not to mention this boat sounds fantastic with that setup. Love the attention to detail. Nice job Jeremy.

Can I reply? Lol... still here guys. Thanks for the props on the install, glad its over.

Bret hope Mr. v would be impressed, he sold me the boat.

That amp install looks amazing.. Any concerns about overheating with everything enclosed like that?

05mobiuslsv 05-11-2011 9:14 PM

No issue at all. Actually 2 amp racks sealed and there are two 3" fans installed in each rack pulling air over the amps with slotted vents at the other end. Airflow was tested before the install, plenty of flow believe me. Fans exhaust down the gunnel. Really quiet and can't hear the fans running unless you open the compartment door and get close to it.

fozz 05-11-2011 9:27 PM

Do you have any pictures of the build process of that amp rack? Is it built out of MDF and then covered in fibreglass resin?

05mobiuslsv 05-11-2011 9:30 PM

The amp racks and battery box next to it are built out of birch plywood with a couple coats of resin.

bruizza 05-12-2011 6:58 AM

Great looking install and I bet it sounds even better!
