Where to buy used boards
Is there a good website any of you guys use to buy used boards, boots, etc? I'm trying to spend $100-$200 on a used cable board before I dive into newer/more money. I can never find anything on eBay, the classifieds here, craigslist, etc. Are there any other sites out there out of the usuals I listed that I may be forgetting?
If not, maybe someone of here is trying to get rid of a cable board (preferably 2014 or newer)? Looking particularly for LF Raph or Deluxe, but extremely open to quite a bit. |
I would try to get a hold of reps around your area and ask if they have any demo gear they're selling.
|
I would try here first.
You could also take a peek at blemboard.com. I Have bought lots of stuff from them, they're factory blemed product and left overs for way less money |
What size you looking for? I might be able to help...

Most people just want to too much for their used gear. You can get new, close-out / last year model stuff for less than used gear most of the time. A complete used board/boots isn't worth more than 100-150$ when you can get a new set up for 200-250.

I know somebody selling a used O'Brien Baker 140 from a few years back.
Still waiting to hear from another guy about what he has for sale for cable boards 140+ |

I also have a Ronix Bandwagon Aircore Standard size for sell. 250$ board is great I am looking to sell it and get the same board just the XL size which I think is like a 144. Being a aircore it is super light and the camber design is very forgiving!

Agree with a lot of what the other people say on here, but ebay is good for those 1 to 2 year old models that never sold and are new.
On a similar topic: Anyone know where I could start looking for a used Origin wakeskate from the 2002 era? Anyone have one of those things? |
Kyle, I noticed you are after an Origin skate, cool but hard to find!.
Not sure if any interest, but I have another rare one - a Mutiny skate that I was getting ready to list on eBay. It is brand new, never gripped, and I have the original large-size grip tape with Mutiny logo cutout in the grip. It is black P-tex on the bottom with the classic Mutiny graphic. It is 43.5" long, 16.25" wide, looks like about 1.5" rocker, which looks like a 3-stage rocker with about a 6" flat spot. This is an Eric Schmaltz original, a definite piece of west coast wake boarding and wake skating history. I was gonna do something with it but just never found the time. Send msg if interested, otherwise it's probably going up on eBay in the next day or two. I can post pics if you like. |
