Linking old posts

I linked an old post in this thread August 23rd of this year (2013). It is the second to last post in this thread as of this date. Here is the thread address of the thread in which I linked the old post.

At that time, the old link uploaded fine. Now, about six weeks later, the old post (again, linked in the 2nd to last post in this thread) does not upload. (Eg., Error 404 -Not Found).

I was trying to link another old thread. Has something changed?

You're linking to the discussion board that we no longer use. All of that should have been transferred over to the new discussion board, so those posts "should" be out there in the new version. We were having problems with Google cataloging the old discussion board pages, so I finally deleted them from the server.

So I was using a post on the old discussion board for reference when trying to fix some bad repairs on my boat by the previous owner.

I found it on the new site, but all the pics are gone.

Any possible way to get them back?

Well, it's a good thing that I only renamed the old discussion board stuff rather than delete it. Because of you guys bringing it to my attention, I realized that the photos from the old discussion board are still being used by the new discussion board, so when I renamed the directory in which the old discussion board resides, I broke the links to all those photos in the new discussion board. Soooo, I just changed the directory name back, so all those old photos should appear in the new discussion board again. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the heads up!
