prop repair - texas
found Nettle Props in Austin. Seemed familiar with inboards and my ACME 911. About to send it out next week quoted a reasonable price. just thought I'd lean on our community for a thumbs up on them before I send off my prop.
anyone used Nettle Props in Austin? I know there was a Nettle in the Great Lakes area that did great work. These guys seem legit, just thought I'd throw it out there. |
Nettles Props are the best. Wouldn't use anyone else.

Agreed

cool thx guys. I'll send it out next week.

I'm in Texas too, but opted to send mine to Acme. $160 to get it re-trued by the folks that made it.
|
Do the folks that make the prop acually do the work or does Acme sub it out to a 3rd party?
|
Nettle prop is hard to pass up in your back yard

I've used Baumann Marine Service in Houston at least a dozen times to repair my two 911 props for my old boat. I've used them once so far to repair my 2315 on my new boat. Always been satisfied with their work.

ACME does NOT fix their props. According to a google search results that were mainly forum threads anyway....
|
B&B Props on Fort Worth... Been using those guys for years and superb results.
