Help Find- video of asian dude buttering around
zucky… thats the dude. thanks!
Yeah man, after watching his YouTube vid it motivated me to spend a day just practicing surface stuff haha
IMO. That is WAY more impressive then a bunch of inverts. Awesome style.
As I recall is that dude not in his mid 50s? I love that, more young kids should watch that video. Whenever I am teaching lessons all the kids want to learn are rolls and flips. Like having a coach in the boat will instantly help them land a flip. They get frustrated when I explain that we are going to do 1 wake 180 drills, they see that as pointless usually, not understanding the building blocks.
This is pretty sick. Rolling into what would normally be rollers for a triple up (cupped wakes) and getting booted off them outside the wake!

What!? Those were crazy!
Wow! Heel 7 off a roller
That 2nd video just blew my mind.
The guy has some style! Very inspiring videos.
man that looked fun! I used to butter around a lot in my warm up set. I think I'm bringing that stuff back.
Here is another really fun video of Kim Yong killing it behind a little boat/wake.

That's what riding is all about. Being fluid
The board control he has is incredible. Best clip I've seen in a long time.

Andy,
Toshimitsu "Zucky" Suzuki is an older rider, but I don't believe he's in his mid 50's. I remember hearing that he started doing only surface tricks & hits off the rollers because his knees were shot and couldn't handle the hard impacts anymore off the wake. He's definitely one of Japan's original riders and still runs a popular wakeboard school / towing service over there. Really a fun rider to watch, and you can keep up with him on FB. He posts usually everyday about something from his riding spot. |
Here's Zucky's latest video edit from today at his home spot in Japan.
