I've used <a href="http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=40970" target="_blank">something like this a few times</a>. Worked fine for me. And if it didn't they have an easy return policy in the first 30 days.

I'd keep one in the boat/truck ...I suggest the ACME weekend saver combo!!!

Ditto on Bill's suggestion - works great.

BTW, those HF pullers work in a pinch.... which it sounded to me like you might have been in. But getting a good <a href="http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=OJ2" target="_blank">OJ style puller</a> is a good idea too. Especially if you are ever doing this in the water, or on a lift. <BR> <BR>A <a href="http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=OJ1146" target="_blank">prop knocker</a> is an interesting option too. <BR> <BR>And remember to get a wrench. Or better yet, a <a href="http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=PROPKITONLY" target="_blank"> "vacation saver"</a>
