Has anyone tried out the new Transits yet? Iv'e got Ultra Suctions now and they hurt me all last season. I was just wondering if they really do feel comfortable, they look like it. I'm just not sure if I want to drop 330.00 on those bindings. I tried the Alphas on and they feel pretty good, but kinda tight by the toes.

I've put 'em on but I haven't ridden 'em. Very comfy. More room to play with than the ultras. Once they're laced up they're much more supportive *see stiffer*. The alphas are just as stiff but I like the footpad on the alphas better.

I just got a pair and they are really comfortable. You can't adjust the size though which sucks. I have a size 10 and got larges and they fit but the tip of my toes are over the edge a little and I am afraid to get xl's cause the ankle support would probably be to big. I'm thinking of getting xl ultras instead cause you can adjust them. But overall I like them.

By the way does anybody else have this same problem who got the transits? Should I keep em or get a bigger size or different binding?

Has anybody ridden with them? Compared to the Ultra's?

I finally got to take my first ride in my transits and they are by far the greatest things I've ever ridden. Super easy to get in and out of, plush foot beds, and super supportive. I rode the Ultras a handful of times and always thought they were really comfortable but didn't like the support around and above the ankle. The transits fixed this problem by lacing all the way up and above the ankles. I didn't get any of the footsslip forward I felt with the ultras. anyway, awesome awesome bindings. Definitely worth the wait.
Hey AJ,

I bought transits and I have the XL. I have narrow feet (size 12 though) and they were easy in and out while dry. Did you happen to take a spill in them? Do they release easy? Just curious...I am about a month to month and a half from riding.

Thanks,
Eric

Sorry, Eric. Didn't take any mean spills. I have the Larges for size 10. For the most part they hold your feet tight so they won't come out. But if you did come out, the new material would probably release pretty easily without losing too much skin.

i dont usually give my opinions but i have ridden these and they are BY FAR the best bindings ive ridden.

I hear you AJ. I just happen to have this habit of dipping the nose of the board a bit! I do believe you are right about the new material...It is super comfy. I guess I just won't "ratchet down" the laces too much until I get a fell for it.

Eric
