cheap surf rack solution
Check this out...havent used it at the lake yet, but should work great (knock on wood). My shredstixx elevation doesnt fit in my racks, and I didnt want to spend another 300/400 bones on an endless wave rack.
These are meant to be used on the roof of you car, strap them through the windows basically. Instead I strapped them to the cross members of the tower, board clears where the rope attaches by about 1.5" and I doubt it could hit even if you wanted it too. I tried that but couldn't figure out how to keep the rope off the board when I was wakeboarding. Let me know how your first trip to the lake goes.

We only surf, havent wakeboarded since I messed up my back, so thats no big deal for me. |
Thats a great idea!

Where did you get them and how much?

EBay also has them in the surf section under Sporting Goods. Joey, your tower is wider and the rope attachment is farther back. You should be good to go.

I've been considering this since last year, except I was gonna go vertical and put a rack on each side of the rope.
This is waaaay more cost effective than anything I have yet to see,and it really does the job. Kudos! |
Also, with this set up I can still fold my tower down all the way, without destroying my seats.
I love it! |
