Hey Ladies! Next year will be here before we know it. Is anyone offering a few practice sets before. I will give gas money!!!

wakekat15 12-19-2008 1:57 PM

Dates are Firm! We are about an hour North of OWC & will likely have room for a couple of people the weekend before. Do you expect to be in town then?

Air Nautique Wake Games Hits Orlando April 23-26

Orlando, Fla. – For the third consecutive year, the world’s top pro and amateur wake athletes will team up in Orlando, Fla., for the Air Nautique Wake Games, presented by ROCKSTAR. Get Flossie ready!!!

wakekat15 12-20-2008 12:27 PM

Lol....Flossie + butts in the boat = Gi-normous wake! Oh wait, I might not have the same boat! We'll have to test it nonetheless!!

rnopr8 12-20-2008 7:58 PM

You HAVE to bring Flossie!!! Gotta get more autographs.

clearlakescott 12-20-2008 9:48 PM

I will be a butt! I also know this chick with a boat on a lake not far from OWC

rnopr8 12-20-2008 11:26 PM

Thanks Scott!! You mean that boat with the sic wake?

polhamus 12-21-2008 12:52 PM

Hey Kat. Yeah I should be in a few days before. Fun! I will Keep in Touch with you. So your getting a new boat?? Geri when you going?

rnopr8 12-21-2008 4:31 PM

Hey Kim,

Glad to hear you will join us!

I am going the week before so I will actually be there 2 weeks. It is my son's spring break so we are doing touristy things this time for him.

I can't do a water-day after this time cause we have to travel home that day but before would be great.

rnopr8 12-22-2008 7:06 PM

WOW..check out the Nationals date and place!!! Glad they posted before I asked for time off.

wakekat15 12-23-2008 5:17 AM

I know...I was pretty surprised by the dates & location! There goes the FRG outing!

lizrd 12-23-2008 7:22 AM

Sniff...sniff...my only hope for a FRG reunion is if Worlds is in Wisconsin. I guess Oklahoma is a good location for Nationals but WOW is it early this year!

a1flowergirl 01-02-2009 7:05 AM

Come on now! We can have a reunion . . . just not on the Fox.

I'm in for both Orlando and Oklahoma . . . assuming I get the time off work. Already put in my request. Just waiting for an answer.

wakekat15 01-02-2009 1:58 PM

I agree on the reunion part, Jen! But, we don't know anyone with a boat in OKC!

a1flowergirl 01-02-2009 4:12 PM

No, but it sounds like we'll all be in Orlando. We can do it there!

And there is just tiny chance that I might know someone with a boat in OKC. A very tiny chance.

rnopr8 01-02-2009 7:23 PM

Kat...since we are all so shy I really don't see a way to ever know anyone in OKC with a boat

rnopr8 01-02-2009 7:24 PM

Jen...how tiny is your chance!!!

a1flowergirl 01-02-2009 11:25 PM

An old high school friend that I recently reconnected with . . . saw a picture of her on a boat standing next to someone with a wakeboard. I'll keep you posted . . .

a1flowergirl 01-02-2009 11:27 PM

And Geri -- good point. There's no way that any of us would EVER get up the gumption to actually meet and talk to someone that lives and rides in OKC. ;)

Ummm, anyone out there reading this post that might like to host a girls day out on a boat during Nationals in OKC? Just wondering . . .

rnopr8 01-03-2009 9:18 AM

Let me see what I can do with my club connections too.

lizrd 01-03-2009 10:35 AM

If all else fails...and I mean all else...there is the possibility of hauling my boat 13 hours - but it would be way more fun to meet up with an Okie. I have a very good friend 2 hours NW of OKC. She has access to a pontoon....we could all work on surface tricks!

polhamus 01-03-2009 10:54 AM

So I am thinking I may buy my tickets soon. The competition is so early, I will be rusty. I may not have too many tricks under my belt

lizrd 01-03-2009 1:11 PM

Kim, we likely won't even have our boat summerized yet so not to worry about being rusty. If I do get a chance to ride before the end of April it will be in a dry suit. We are all there to have a good time! I don't want to buy tix until I know for sure the days for Master's Women. Priscilla replied to my email that she hopes to get a basic running order figured out in the near future. I'm in so long as we don't ride on that Thursday.

a1flowergirl 01-03-2009 9:58 PM

I am G to G on both Wake Games and Nationals. I got the time off approved for both today! Woohoo!

Now let's just hope I can actually make it through a entire pull!

polhamus 01-06-2009 1:40 PM

Yeah thanks, I will wait to buy my tickets

rnopr8 01-06-2009 8:01 PM

Sweet Jen.......You are way ahead of me. Mine won't get approved until end of Jan....a union thing, you know. And if someone more senior gets ahead of me...I have to get creative
