T_A 04-12-2016 3:07 PM

jps120 04-12-2016 3:34 PM

Little birdie told me it is going to be a 21'

ChaseR720 04-12-2016 3:36 PM

Moomba pulled the page but...

http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...tatromh1234567

So basically it's a baby Supra?

goridedoo 04-12-2016 4:44 PM

Been hoping for an update to the mondo. Looks like this is it. Hopefully can get one nicely equipped for under 60k.

denverd1 04-12-2016 5:11 PM

says 20'5"

tyler97217 04-12-2016 5:47 PM

Saw this on Facebook. Everyone is going deep!!!

xstarrider 04-12-2016 5:47 PM

If I had to guess I say it replaces the LSV. In the 21ft range.

The mondo replaced outback v at 20.5
Craze upped to 22ft
And Mojo went to 23.

Actually, the Craze fully replaced the LSV (most of the time boats lines upgrade, they go up in length, not down), which would make the Helix an all new line. This is Moomba's run to keep in the budget boat arena. And with the rising costs in the industry, Shorter boats (meaning less raw materials used in construction) is the only way for companies to keep things affordable! However, I feel they should shoot more for the $50k mark however, not $60k!

Ride 04-13-2016 6:19 AM

I don't like it.

Lemonade 04-13-2016 6:59 AM

If it can be had for 60K$ CDN I'd look to switch out my Sanger, if for no reason than the higher freeboard.

beg4wake 04-13-2016 9:54 AM

Is it just me or is the interior very Nautique-ish?! Minus the better grade of materials and fit and finish of course...

snyder 04-13-2016 10:30 AM

Good on ya Moomba! The prices for the top tier boats has gotten completely out of hand (in my opinion). It'd be different if Moomba's reputation was as cheap as their prices... wait, did i just call $60-80k boats cheap?

My Paw Paw used to say "It'll cost ya about $1,000 per foot for a boat! That's incredible!". Now it's like 5x that! And we're not talking 50 years ago... maybe 15.

yes, very square with walk through transom.

my sanger makes me nervous sometimes when loaded down with a newb on the wheel. About the only reason I see to change

xstarrider 04-14-2016 10:56 AM

Is t it the 14th. Com on already Moomba

Sivs1 04-14-2016 11:11 AM

It's on the Moomba site

boardjnky4 04-14-2016 12:07 PM

Holy freeboard batman.

20 foot boat @ 4000lbs

BrettLee3232 04-14-2016 1:31 PM

Boat looks good. At the price point they are selling this boat for it's going to be hard for first time buyers to even consider a Yamaha or Scarab.

Not a lot of options for this boat which is understandable for the price point.

I don't know why they didn't include the new color display on all 16' models though. Kind of sucks for everyone that just ordered a new boat at the boat shows.

I wonder if they will retool the mondo to be a true 21' boat kind of like they did with the Mojo.

From what I've heard it's 50 to low 50s

Lemonade 04-14-2016 2:17 PM

You do a build on the website. Too bad exchange rate is so atrocious. Still $80000 CDN pre tax with common options included.

denverd1 04-14-2016 2:17 PM

its thursday....

smorris7 04-14-2016 2:20 PM

Well optioned is low 60's

BrettLee3232 04-14-2016 2:20 PM

Well dealer discounts. I mean no one pays MSRP

Ttime41 04-14-2016 2:40 PM

The buzz I've been hearing is that it can be had well equipped for 55 out the door

boardjnky4 04-14-2016 2:47 PM

Wow, that's good pricing compared to Axis.

Here's some pics of it from Moomba's website.

BrettLee3232 04-15-2016 8:33 AM

I wish it was more pickle fork. Kind of reminds me of an old Placecraft deck boat bow. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...08c8a9775f.jpg

Rusty 04-15-2016 8:59 AM

Doesn't remind me of that at all.

timmyb 04-15-2016 9:22 AM

Not a bad looking little boat even if it looks like a G21'ish clone. Could be a good seller for Moomba if it looks as good in person as it does in pictures at <$60k.

Bamabonners 04-15-2016 8:04 PM

bow looks fugly to me.

snork 04-16-2016 11:22 AM

need to find a better place for the bow speakers and that tower is FUGLY

xstarrider 04-16-2016 9:04 PM

Didn't even think about the bow speakers.

Those wouldn't feel good at all slammed in your back while watching the action.

Good call Snork

KJonesWakeboarder 04-17-2016 10:47 AM

That tower looks like a Roswell aviatior, which are some pretty damn good towers from what I've researched and seen

bass10after 04-17-2016 9:42 PM

i can't believe they chose citibank to put in the glove box... i mean of all the cc choices i can't believe they used citi in the boat. Screw them i'm not buying one now.

downfortheride 04-18-2016 7:32 AM

Decent move Skiers Choice! Everything you will need and more for around $60K. I'm a fan of the redesign helm so you have more of a view out the windshield when fully seated. Can't wait to see the Helix in person...

Stock Surf Wave

BrettLee3232 04-20-2016 9:22 AM

Not bad for stock

allzway 04-20-2016 9:29 AM

It has some nice features. I think the nose will grow on you...Not terrible, but not great.

MICAH_HARPER 04-20-2016 9:43 AM

Wave looks good for stock. Good shape, should be killer with more weight. I don think the bow looks that terribly bad.
This could be my next purchase if the price is right. Maybe next winter

I am very happy with our Helix. Stock surf setup is easy and clean.

DatTexasBoy 01-22-2017 4:27 PM

There was one well equipped on a single axel trailer in Houston for around $58k
