Snowboard build

Has anybody ever built there own snowboard? I though about doing it and have done some research on it. I have found there are a few different ways to do it. Does anybody know where there is a good place to buy some of the materials like edges, inserts, rubber foil, ect. Im just looking to do it for something fun to try and maybe it could make a good hobby during the winter.

I would hit up a guy named Bruce Varsava. He makes custom snowboards including racing boards for olympic class competitors. His company is "Coiler". You can find his E-Mail on their website. He is very busy as he is a one man operation, but one of the nicest guys around. I bet he would shoot you back an E-Mail with some info. As an aside the custom alpine titanial racing board I bought from him was just a little over half the price of my factory Burton Mystery.

I actually took a class at a local junior college. Instructor skipped out half way through. I can sell you everything I never used if u want. Edges, t posts, whatever other parts are normally needed. I'll keep the custom top sheet. If you're interested let me know and I can see what I actually have.
