I can get either one of these boats for pretty much the same price. Which one would give me a better port side wake.
Thx, Pete

Pretty sure you are going to get the Enzo as the choice from most if that is Truly all you are using the boat for. From what I have seen and read, the Avy might give you a better darkside wave in comparison. You might post up on centurioncrew.com as well. Those are some surfing fools over there! Both are fantastic boats.

The enzo will be a better wake for surfing. It will be longer and if you weight it right it will be bigger as well. You seriously can't beat the enzo when it comes to surfing. The avy is great don't get me wrong I love mine, but the enzo is the KING OF SURF.

Thanks for the info Drew. The only problem with the SV23 is it has the side swipe exhaust which I heard is kinda loud.

I've read those threads for sure. I think its all a matter of opinion. I'd suggest evaluating that in a test drive if I were you before drawing any conclusions. Some folks love it. I dont think I would go for it personally...but I would also pick the 23 over the Avy...so that would make it tough. I am just jealous overall that you get to make this decision For now, I settle for the nice wave we get out of my 20'8" Cyclone. Still a happy Centurion owner though.

well the deals are great but selling my boat is going to be tough in this market. I'll probably just stick with the boat I have but it sure is tempting.

The side swipe is not that bad. Everyone just compares to a muffled boat. Both the Avy and Enzo are great. The Enzo is a better surf boat. The Avy is a better wakeboard boat. 500 lb and a couple riders and the 230 is ready. I used one all last year.
