Time to replace my LF Shane - how about a Murray?

I’m an intermediate boat rider, 220lbs. My 10 or 11 year old LF Shane 140 is falling apart so I need a new ride. I’ve not kept up at all with board development and don’t have a clue about current models. There’s no possibility to demo so I’d welcome some advice. Woukd a Murray 150 make sense?

Many thanks for your thoughts.9

You can never go wrong with a Murray.

Go w the Murray:)

At 220 I'd pretty easily say going to the 150 would be a fun move for you. I'm 150, 5'6" and ride the 144 sometimes. Go w the Murray. That's what I ride:)

I think you might like the 150. I'm 5'11" 175 and love my 144. Going to try the 150 soon and see how that feels. At 220, I would say 150cm for sure.

For the price, the Murray is hard to beat. It's a solid board that hardly ever gets a bad review. I'm 205-210 and went with the 150. In full disclosure, mine cracked the second time I rode it. I got it at the end of the season last year. They replaced it with a 2019 model, but it didn't come in time to try it out before winter. I'm chalking my failure up to some kind of one off defect in the manufacturing process.
