Moving to Aiken SC and Augusta GA Area - Lake Thurmond and Lake Murray
 

I am planning to move to the Aiken, SC area for work, and I am looking for any advice on where to live/drive for best boarding on weekends and Fridays. I am looking to join a crew that has a boat until I can acquire my own. I am not picky about the quality of boat. I would happily pay for gas plus extra for maintenance. I like to bord all year round as long as the water isn't frozen. I have all my own gear including drysuit, which I am willing to share. I am from SE Michigan and have been boarding regularly for last 10 years. Tricks include melan backroll and slob 360, which I am happy to teach, and I am looking to learn more.
