Can you replace dry suit seals
 

My dry suit is in some bad shape. 8yrs of uses will do that. The suit itself is mint. But the seals, especially the neck are toast. Can u get em re done or just chalk up the $$ for a new suit? It's one of the older baggy ones.

There is a company you can send it to and will replace all. Can't think of name. They used to advertise in the back of wakeboard mag and waterski

If your suit is an O'Neill Boost (seems to be the most common for wakeboarding), you can send it directly to O'Neil. I think it costs $20 per corner... not sure what the neck seal costs, but I'm sure a little more. It takes about a month to get your suit back, but they also do a full leak test. You may be able to find local scuba shops who can do it more quickly. There are also some youtube videos with instructions on doing it yourself. You can buy the seals for about $10 per seal.

Before you spend the money, make sure the rest of the suit is worth repairing. You can get a brand new Boost for about $450. At 8 yrs of use, it's possible the zipper is also near its end of life or the body material could have leaks. If I had a suit that age, I'd learn to make the repairs myself as I wouldnt want to sink too much money in something that old that could have many other issues as well.

Thanks guys. Gonna take a stab after watching the videos and finding a place to buy the seals. Seems pretty straight forward.

Do some YouTube searches, I do all my own repairs. Really easy and pretty inexpensive. If you have questions pm me I'll walk you through it.

You can usually find a local dive shop or rafting company/shop that will stock seals. I don't think I've paid more than $20-30 for an ankle/wrist seal and less than $40 for a neck seal.
