I'm looking at possibly buying a 2001 Sunscape.
Any thoughts, pro's/cons on this boat? Anything i should look for or run from?

If I'm right, that is the same hull as the 2001 Wakesetter LSV that I had. The key to getting a good wake out of that boat is the Wedge (which it probably doesn't have) and a lot of weight in the rear. People used to complain about a flat wake from that hull, but mine was an absolute monster.

I would confirm that I have the hull right, and see if you can add the wedge. If the wedge can't be added, I would look for any Wakesetter 21 or 23.

Great, thanks . It says it has a manual wedge, and i have tons of sacks from my old boat, so thats not a problem.

Is this the one in Santa Cruz area that was on craigslist? I worked a deal out with the guy, but its a messy sale w/ the divorce.

Boarder85, yeah same boat. Did you ever go look at it in person by chance? Im assuming you passed on the deal, can i ask why?
