2005 Centurion T5 Air Warrior
I've been shopping boats since the boat show. I think i found a winner and I'm driving 3.5 hours to go check it out and hopefully buy it on Friday. It is a 2005 Centurion T5 Air Warrior. I cant find much info around about them and wanted to see if i can dig up info on what to look for when running through a pre purchase inspection. I know what to look for in general, but I'm wondering about anything that is specific to this model.
Thanks in advance for your help! |
You should post over in the CenturionCrew forum, to get some better answers. Some of the members lurk here, but most stay there.

I believe that is a direct drive model. Not sure if you knew that.

Its a DD and it could have a vapor locking problem, a friend of mine had one and it constantly vapor locked. Finally took it back to the dealer, and they said put a vent in the engine cover. He laughed and said WTF??? Took a lawyer and a threat to sue, and the dealer finally broke down and took it back and gave him a new T-5. This dealer was Cope and Mcpheters, which is now out of business.

Thanks for the info. I did know it was a DD, I prefer it because my kids and I are 50/50 on skiing and wakeboarding. I'll post over at cen crew as well. Thanks again all.
