Binding compatibility

I have given a used Liquid Force Substance 2008 by a friend.

What current bindings are compatible with this board? I have heard the inserts on old boards are different from ones on newer boards.

I don't wanna buy a newer binding and find out it isn't compatible.

That's a good board, I used to ride one.

I don't know if any other retailer or board company has this, but evo has a great compatibility chart on their website. Basically any binding will mount to it you just won't have all the stance width options. 2008 is also still standard screws, so you would have to buy new screws if you are buying new bindings with m6 screws.

Thank you! i checked the chart out.

It sounds like I will have full control over stance, if i have some sort of a extender called Retrofit anglelock? Do you know anything about it?

Also, Is the standard screw easy to find?

Lowes or any other store like that carries the hardware. Its standard 1/4-20 hardware. I have had better luck at Lowes finding the screws. Usually found in stainless steel. Buy the same length of whatever screws come with the bindings you buy, probably half inch? Remember to use thread locker on the screws.

The 2008 board has 7 inch hole pattern, LF was the only one to use that for some reason and the only year was 2008. Unless you think an inch is going to make a difference, you probably don't need any adapters to mount the bindings. Those adapters might be hard to find these days anyway.

I usually rode that board without the center fin.
