Tower Mirror??
00 Air Nautique Needs a Mirror. It's a somewhat budget rebuild boat so I don't need a $500 mirror.
Anybody have a recommendation for an inexpensive tower mirror and bracket? Thanks! |
Monster Tower makes a budget friendly mirror. http://www.monstertower.com/Tower-Mirrors-s/1833.htm

Get the carbon fiber one on monsters website for $70. Great deal

I am really blown away by the PTM mirrors and the angle of view and clarity you can really see. I would look at all the options with them. They really allow you to see everyone in the boat and the rider even when they are cut out. I would pay a few extra bucks and get one. Usually the mount is more expensive than the mirror, so just get one that mounts to your windshield.

Roswell makes a fairly inexpensive nice mirror tower mount combo

For the mirror itself, it's hard to beat to the CIPA Vision 180. I mean, Amazon has it for $57 shipped. You need an arm that has a swivel ball mount though.

The CIPA 180 has edge to edge coverage. Absolutely 180 degrees so your rider can't cut out of your field of view. It's a little like a "gopro" aspect, but we've grown to love it. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-g...927_114447.jpg https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-J...927_082003.jpg |

+1 on the CIPA 180, and not just because I'm in one of the pictures in it :D
Using a standard mirror was fine, we then tried the CIPA Extreme with the 3 panels. That was just really unintuitive to use. The CIPA 180 is great though, you can see your rider wherever they are, it's very clear and it just works. |
