Replacing damaged Kenwood head unit

Our cover lost it's rainproofiness on our 2009 Supra, and at one point, somehow filled the glove box with water. It seems to have killed a bunch of the functionality of the head unit in there (a Kenwood KTS MP400MR). Unfornately, it seems that the two wired remotes that came with it are not compatible with any other head units and this one was discontinued in 2009.

Looking to replace it, but I'm not sure what remotes might fit in the slots provided by the factory install. Boat is a 2009 Supra 24V World's Edition. Also not trying to spend a boatload on it either, to be honest.

Thanks for any input you all might have!

I believe the controller for the Kenwood is a surface mount. I believe Sony still make something a little larger still surface mount.

I had the same head unit ago out on me the very first time I made a trip to the lake with my new REV10's installed.

I posted on the Supra and Moomba forum WTB and bought a used one from somebody that upgraded there stock head unit on there Moomba. I even got a model one year older than the one that came on my 06 and still was able to use the rear controls. Your looks like the same one I have in my boat right now, when I get home I'll look up the model number.

P.S. I'm pretty sure no other head units will work with your wired in remotes or I would have bought a newer one.

Thanks all. It's the 400mr, but basically the same as the 3. Just not sure I'd there's a remote that will fit in the drivers slot.
