duffmangt 11-13-2009 9:38 AM

its not that people say you cant its that its insanely unsafe...

jeff_mn 11-13-2009 9:40 AM

direct drive - not an i/o..

Boats used were Moomba and Malibu

ironj32 11-13-2009 9:40 AM

how is surfing behind a direct drive any more unsafe than a vdrive? maybe you thought he said I/O?

jeff_mn 11-13-2009 9:45 AM

Truth. He was obviously thinking I/O... Just had to call him out. We've all had those moments..

Direct drive ski boats + no ballast + wakesurfing = win!

duffmangt 11-13-2009 9:49 AM

Jay

Wakesurfing behind any boat in Minnesota is Dangerous, I have anti Surfer Missiles on my boat. Watch yo self!~

jeff_mn 11-13-2009 11:08 AM

Andy - we surf ballastless in a direct drive to keep the wakes down for you!

;-)

Just kidding. Rest assured that no butter was harmed in the taping of these videos. One part was taped November 11th in Minnesota. The other was taped Labor Day on Prior Lake. The anti-butter.

well they never dropped the handle so...

jeff_mn 11-13-2009 11:40 AM

We can drop handle.. Jason just doesn't..

And really - it's just a joke anyways. Enjoy it!

Being from South TX, you wouldn't catch me dead in 39° water! Eff that. .

(Message edited by tcaz on November 13, 2009)

Jason (guy in the video) wore a dry suit.. On that same day - I thought I'd be ok in "just" a wet suit.

I, in fact, was not.. I took a digger and IMMEDIATELY my body went into shock mode. I wanted to get my bindings off SOO bad but my hands wouldn't work the way my mind wanted them too. Calmed down a second, got my poop in a group, got them off and got in the boat.

Just did it to say we did it. Not smart. Jason took like a 10 minute surf set in that water with his feet exposed. No thanks!
