Randy - I had my original LG warrantied for that purpose. Now mine has several other issues.

mine sinks like a rock too, it sucks, im pulling silt and crap up off the bottom in 40 ft of water and it takes less than a minute or so to hit the bottom!

the new LG handles are suppose to have rubber inserts in the bar to make the handle "Float." Sue should take care of you over at proline.

Yeah, the fixed the sinking issue a few years ago. At least the replacement I replaced several years back floats as compared to my original which did not. <BR> <BR>Now if I could get one where the grip doesn't come loose and tear so easily...
