i am riding a 06 premier and I was thinking about taking off my Jib rails, but was wondering what you guys have done after you removed them with the screw holes?? IF i have to leave the screws in then I might as well leave the rails on to.

I have an 06 premier and have mine off and didn't put the screws back in.

Michael, does it ride any different with them off?

i ride an 06 Premier 136, i took the jibs off. the screw holes dont have any effect on how it rides. you can roll w/ em out. no worries. The board is still a killer.

you might want to fill the holes in with candle wax so it doesnt delaminate. cheap and easy

Lyon,
Its rides different in my opinion. Though some people say it feels the same. With them on it made it feel slower and made it made the board track wierd. It felt like something was always dragging and kinda pulling on the board. And it doesn't fit in a lot of board racks with them on.

without the jib ribs its a much more consistant board and no worries about the delamantating its like taking out ur fins and leaving the screws out. you dont wax those holes do you?

arizonarider 07-25-2007 2:40 PM

I didn't wax them. Just left them alone.

hawkeye7708 07-25-2007 2:48 PM

same here. no problems at all.

I hit rails too much to take them off. They don't bother me and they keep the bottom as pretty as possible. It does slow the board down a bit though.

If you aren't hitting the sliders there is no point and you should probably remove them.
