is there a surf scene on sonoma? i just got a new boat and plan to leave it on lake sonoma for most of the summer. does this place go off at all? never really been out on the lake.

also, i live ten minutes away and am down to ride every day. will have room for a 2nd/3rd all the time. surf only.

There are a few guys that surf at Sonoma. It's a windy lake so get there early. One surf boat rolls out the small side.

Ya quite a few people go there on the weekends. I hate the walk to the truck at the public launch, but if you live local having a slip would be really nice. I get down there about 4-5 times a summer You out of Cloverdale? I am up in Willits and go to lake Mendocino quite often when its full. A lot of people from Lake sonoma come up to mendocino because it gets less blown out, but more rough if there are too many boats. What kind of boat do you have? There is a guy DJ JamesZ that is a lake sonoma guy, he goes out all the time in the mornings.

2012 enzo sv240+. yeah i live in healdsburg, but i've got a place in ukiah as well so i could do lake mendo pretty easily. that's a shame about the wind, but i think i'll still grab a slip there and just tow to wherever.
