Wake the World Texas Needs Boats!
 

Wake the World Texas is in need of a couple more boats.

I've been involved with Wake the World for the last few years and I can tell you it's truly an awesome event. If you're not familiar with WtW, this, our 5th annual day on the water, would consist of volunteering your time, talents, and boat to give some outstanding kids on opportunity that they otherwise would never have. The day begins around 7-8am and concludes around 6pm. Meals are provided for all volunteers. This year's event will be on Monday, July 21st at Canyon Lake (between Austin and San Antonio).

As of today, we have 15 boats signed up and could really use another 2-4 to accommodate all 70 kids plus their staff members. If you're interested, please reply to this post or send me a direct message so I can get in touch with you. Feel free to share the word with your boater friends.

I'd love to help out, but Canyon is a good 8 hour drive for me. Keep me in mind for future years when you're a bit closer. Enjoy the day!
