link didnt work. any others?
Ole Crow 5 eh? Nice!
haven't found one... "Adam Errington from some angles it looks like a double cork 9, im claiming melon double crow...AKA the champion valkyrie! "
link?
Crazy! I paused it at the point of crow mobe. He does a second flip, and an extra 180 after the crow mobe rotation. Double Crowmobe 5? I guess it could be an ole 5 after the crow mobe as Eubanks suggested.
it seems like he goes inverted twice tho?!
When I click the link, it says "The content is currently unavailable"... even though I'm logged into facebook! Are there any non-facebook links??
he calls it "campion valkyrie" melon double crow

Thanks Austin for posting that link!
That could be agrued so many different ways. I wouldnt even call the first part of it a crow because he's not really inverted there. I don't really think he's inverted enough at any point of the trick to call it any kind of flip. I would call it a ts double ole melon 9. Just my two cents! |
oh it wasnt behind a boat..
looks like a double ole nine.. pretty sick. I got too excited when I read double crow and saw no mention about it being off a kicker. |
That was so sick. This is one of those times that I wish wakeboarding had adopted the trick naming scheme that snowboarding has. I guess it is a little to late to do so now, so I will say that I think it is double cork 5. One ole 5 spun on two different axis.
If it was snowboarding, it might be a double cork. But there is no "cork" in Wakeboarding.
scarecrow to ole' 3. At least it was grabbed......
I love that it was established long ago that wake names suck but whenever a new trick is landed, its given an equally dumb name (sorry adam). I just think its funny how it seems that we embrace the stupidity.
Love to see new stuff like this, way to kill it. I hate when tricks are analyzed by the degree of off-axis and that every single trick in snowboarding is now a double cork that used to be OA. Not getting into what the "actual" trick is, just recognizing skill in something I could never do. Sick! |
looks like a grabbed big worm to me...
yea, posted it on learnwake, and that's what Kyle thought it was too. Melan grab Big Worm
Maybe. Same rotation. But, big worm looks more like a crow-whirly (more inverted; board is up in the air, rider under board) to me. This looks more like double-corked crow (finish crow, then do another underspin/cork).
