Selling my Bakersfield, CA Private Lake Property, Looking for Advice
Hey everyone,
I'm trying to sell my wakeboard/wakesurf property near Bakersfield, CA. So far I've been unsure as to where to post it, and was hoping you might have some suggestions for me. I tried Ski-It-Again (link here) but haven't had any luck. I'm hesitant to post here because it doesn't seem like the classifieds section is very active... If you or someone you know is looking for a place in Southern California, there aren't too many wakeboard only private lakes! Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. |
I'd buy it if I still lived in Cali.

How deep and how long is that lake?

That’s a beautiful setup! I’m so jealous!

Get an agent who sells lake property and you’ll probably end up with more than your asking
|
Pay to list it in the MLS. It will appear on many sites and all realtors will see it. There are a number of web sites that will list your home in state and national MLS systems and on relator.com for $99 to $149. You may even want to offer any realtor who finds you a buyer a 2% commission. Do that and you have done 99% of what a realtor would do for you and you will have saved a ton of money. Google "flat fee MLS listing".

I don't understand why that's not already sold. It seems too good to be true. If I was closer to retirement, I'd buy that in a heartbeat and live there in a trailer.
Or am I missing something. Are there some big hefty association fees or something? |
I agree with the above, you need to get that out to the masses. There are probably quite a few people that would be interested and would never think to check Ski-it-again. Get that think on the MLS or at least real estate web pages and CraigsList!
