So I have a new to me Sanger v210 and am playing. Around with sack options wanted to see what other people with more experience with this boat are running.I have2*350, 2*450,and the stock front ballast bag. I have filled uP the 450' s and the stock bag but lake was blown and seemed hard for boat to Plane any info would be gReat

In my experience the v210 needs more weight in the front. My advise is to add 700 pounds to the front before adding anything to the rear. Once you have 700 pounds in the front add pound for pound front and rear. You will max out at round 1400 front 700 back. The acme 525 is a good prop for that setup

So if you want to play around with the sacks you have, 400 in the isle a far forward as you can, the other sideways in the bow seats over the top, 2x300 in the rear lockers. With 5 people in the boat the wake will be real nice at 22-23mph. Plus factory in floor of course.

The free board won't be a problem there

I have had this conversation with Darren and others when I was looking at a V210 a while ago. You should notice that your V210 sits nose high naturally. Even with mroe ballast in the front it still sits fairly flat instead of nose down like a lot of boats.

I have a 2002 V210. We ride with a bit less weight than Darren, most often with 1,000 to 1,100, but with similar distribution. I use three 225 sacs, two in the bow walkway and one on the rear seat in front of the pylon, plus the center ballast of maybe 400. Add 3-4 guys in the boat and it's a nice, thick rampy, super-fun wake.

Now I'm going to slam that bad boy

That wake you got there is ****in rad!
|
How much is that prop you got and what kind of difference does make
|
You can get them online for 430 bucks: http://www.bakesonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=2129
How much difference it makes depends on what you currently have, with the 525 you can plane up with 2500 pounds and 6 peeps, the boat would be boarder line dangerous with anymore weight than that. |
