Board help needed. Flex but fast?

I've been riding flex boards only for at least the past 5 years and have nothing but great things to say. I jumped on a Ronix One last week and was really surprised how much faster on the water it felt compared with my Slingshot Recoil. I was able to slow the boat down and not feel like I'm sinking like I would normally. The Ronix landed like a ton of bricks and I really missed the flex feel but did like the speed. Is there a flex board that get me a little more speed but still keep the flex?

My response feel rather fast, I would think faster than the 3 stage recoil

I've done a few sets on a shredtown and a hooke and didn't feel difference other than the amount of flex. Haven't tried a response but will maybe give one a try.

I'm a ronix freak and I have the old Ibex, the One, the Bill the Parks and the William. The William has a lot more flex than the others (much softer landings) and has a relatively fast feel. .

I have ridden both Response and Recoil as both boat and cable boards since 2012. IMO, the response definitely feels faster on the water than the Recoil does.

Larger boards also ride higher in the water and tend to be faster. 146 Recoil is a nice fast setup. However, in general if you're looking for fast, go with continuous rocker. And with flex boards remember that they ride smaller than they are, so buy a size larger than you might normally ride.

Response is definitely faster than the Recoil and lands soft too.
