Wake Pumpkin

I had to rock out another one this year. Complete with a G23 and a couple of my other favorite brands. Who else carved the wake for Halloween?

Did you use patterns for that or is that carved from scratch?

No but the pumpkin pie was baked from scratch.

Thanks everyone. I created the pattern myself from photos and then added the Ronix and Performance logos that weren't in the photo. The G23 was harder than I thought because it is so small but I promised a buddy last year that I would put a Nautique in there.

What did you use to get such precision lines when you carved

Just a small saw from a pumpkin carving kit.
In all fairness it is a synthetic pumpkin which doesn't nessisarily make it easier to carve because its not as soft but it does allow me to feel like I'm not an idiot who spent 8 hours on something just to watch it rot away in a few days.
The trick with real pumpkins is to scrape them until you have a thin outside shell. If you only scrape the guts out the thing is too thick to get any minor details.

Bonus, this one might have earned me a visit ot Lake Ronix! Totally worth the effort.
